Graphical User Interface

  • Several edit menu forms enhanced to allow them to remain open for repetitive use with an apply button.

Modeling

  • Hysteresis Models: New and enhanced hysteresis models for nonlinear materials, hinges and links have been added.
  • ASCE 41-13 Guidelines: Updated frame hinge definitions follow ASCE 41-13 guidelines. Performance point calculations for pushover curves updated to ASCE 41-13 as well.
  • PMM Hinge: Parametric P-M2-M3 frame hinge implemented for use with performance-based design and other nonlinear analyses.

Loading

  • NBCC 2015 automated wind load, seismic load and response spectrum function added.

Analysis

  • Step-by-step energy plots available for nonlinear direct-integration time-history load cases and for nonlinear static/staged-construction load cases.
  • Model frame nonlinear hinges as links, allowing for use of nonlinear modal time-history analysis (FNA) for faster analysis.
  • Size of the saved analysis results files is reduced for multi-step nonlinear static and nonlinear direct-integration time-history load cases.

Section Designer

  • Import geometry from a DXF file into Section Designer.

    Hi, I have a 64 bit machine and I downloaded the 64 bit version, but when I try to run the exe it tells me that "This app can't be run on your PC" and that I should check the software publisher for a version for my PC. I have tried to run as admin but to no avail. Do you know a fix? Thanks!

    I don´t know why, but when i copy the lservc to the SAP instalation file, it didn´t replace any file, as shown in the video. Then, when i try to run de SAP2000.exe it shows a message that can´t find standalone license or something else. What can i do to fix this problem? Thank you!

    I followed these stepes
    1) Disable antivirus.
    1) Devem desativar o antivírus quando utilizem o CRACK (durante a geração do arquivo da licença “lservrc”)

    2) Após finalizar a instalação, incluindo a geração do arquivo anterior. Deve-se alterar a data do computador para antes do novembro de 2018. Por exemplo, 21 de março de 2018.
    2) After the setup and crack generation, you should change the computers clock and put it before november 18. For example, march 21.
